About

Dext is the bookkeeping automation platform used by 12,000+ accounting and bookkeeping firms. This connector brings your practice data into Claude, so you can ask questions across your whole client portfolio instead of clicking through it.

What you can do:

Portfolio - list and filter clients by accounting integration, product, managed status, health score or next deadline. See who manages what and who has access.

Data health - surface active insights by severity, review workflow checks, and verify critical accounts (PAYE, dividends, DLA, entertainment) are configured correctly before you file.

Workflow - track flows by status, due date or assignee to see what's in progress, in review, or at risk across the practice.

UK tax prep - VAT return summaries with tax-code breakdowns, Corporation Tax estimates for an accounting period, P11D requirement checks, and assets eligible for Annual Investment Allowance.

Ledger detail - invoices, aged payables and receivables, fixed assets, journals and wages journals, plus live bank balances for clients connected to Xero.

Capacity - time spent by client, by colleague, or across the team.

Every tool is read-only. The connector reads from Dext and your connected accounting software; it does not create, edit or delete records, post journals or file returns. Access follows your existing Dext permissions, so users only see the practices and clients they can already see in the app.
